4.  Teams should be ready to play 45-mins prior to their scheduled game time.

7.  All tournaments will follow "Texas Safety Rules" in ages 9U,10U, 11U, and 12U.  This rule only applies when there is a runner at 3rd base.

     - If the batter shows bunt and the runner on 3rd base commits to running home, the batter must either.

          1.  Let the pitch travel to the catcher without swinging, or

          2. Make a movement consistent with bunting the ball

     - If the batter makes a movement interpreted as swinging or bunt/slash at the pitch, the batter is automatically out.  The pitch will be ruled a           "Dead Ball" and the runner on 3rd base must return to the base.  The 3rd base coach will be ejected from the game.

     - The exception to this rule occurs when there are two (2) outs and there is a full count on the batter (3 balls and 2 strikes).  In this case, the           runner at 3rd base must proceed to home plate clearly in foul territory.

Pitch Count:

     - 9U - 12U, pitchers may not exceed 3 innings in a game and 6 innings per weekend.

     - 13U, pitchers may not exceed 7 innings in a game and 8 innings per weekend.

Coach Pitch:

1.  Waning will be issued for throwing bats and at the judgement of the umpire, a player may be called out for throwing a bat afte a first warning has been made.

2.  Once time is called, based on all runners that have either stopped running or returned to base; base runner will be sent back to the last base occupied and the stoppage of play.

3.  The pitching coach may not communicate in anyway (verbally, by motions, or silent code) with any offensive player or coach at any time while his team is on offense.

4.  Pitches must be thrown at 32-40 MPH or on a rope with no upward loob or lob.  Pitches must be flat or on a downward trajectory (subject to the judgement of the umpire).

5.  Teams must hit their entire lineup.

6.  Teams must play 10 fielders.

7.  You may star with 8 players but the 9th and 10 th slots in the batting order will be automatic outs until the roster team player(s) shows up and is inserted into the 9th and 10th slots.

8.  After 7 runs, a teams turn at bat is over.  The only exception is if the last batter of the inning clearly hits the ball over the outfield fence and is declared a home run by the umpire.

9.  Each player is allowed six (6) pitches only.  This includes foul balls.  There for a foul off the bat on the 6th pith will result in an out.

Tee Ball (Where applicable, see coach pitch rules 1, 2, 5, and 8):

1.  Bats thrown completely out of circle will be declared dead ball and the batter will be out.

2.  Once time is called, runners that are more than half way to the next base will be advanced to that base, while runners who are less than half way will be sent back to the last base that they occupied.  This shall be in the judgement of the umpire.

3.  The pitcher cannot make a force out at any base.  The pitcher can only tag the runner in the base path or receive the ball at the base.

4.  Once a base runner enters the circle at home, only the catcher can make the out.
